Our Story
This started with one layoff, one broken hiring process, and two people who decided to do something about it.
In December 2025, our family experienced what millions of American families face every year — a sudden layoff that launched an exhausting, demoralizing, and eye-opening journey through the modern job market. What followed was not bad luck. It was a consistent, documented pattern of employer behavior with zero accountability and no platform willing to name it publicly.
"We kept asking the same question:
“How is any of this legal? Companies ghost candidates after multiple rounds of interviews and face absolutely zero consequences. We decided to do something about it.”
Co-founders, VyzorIQ — Atlanta, GA
The job market is not just broken. It is stacked against candidates by design.
Our research confirmed what we had lived through firsthand. Ghost postings, employer ghosting, and deceptive practices were not occasional oversights — they were industry standard. And the problem was getting worse, driven by a new force accelerating the damage on both sides of the hiring table.

We also saw very specific experiences that repeated across different companies and industries. Each one was a category of harm that had no public record attached to it.
The AI factor
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the job market — and not in candidates' favor.
The rise of AI is accelerating the crisis on two fronts simultaneously. More candidates are being forced into the market as AI-driven layoffs eliminate roles across every industry. And the companies those candidates are applying to are increasingly using AI to screen, interview, and reject them, with less human accountability than ever before.
VyzorIQ was built with this reality in mind. The platform tracks not just traditional ghosting and deception, but the growing wave of AI-driven hiring practices that are fundamentally changing what candidates experience.
Mass layoffs driven by AI investment are flooding the job market with more candidates competing for the same or fewer roles, which increases the volume of ghost posting abuse as companies manage their pipeline without headcount.
Companies are deploying AI screening tools that reject candidates algorithmically with no human review. This creates a black box where qualified candidates disappear with no explanation and no recourse.
AI-conducted video interviews are increasingly replacing human interviewers — removing the personal accountability that comes with a human being looking someone in the eye and promising to follow up.
Automated job posting tools allow companies to publish and maintain listings at scale with no human monitoring, making it easier than ever to maintain ghost postings indefinitely across multiple platforms.
How AI is making the problem worse
VyzorIQ was built by a cybersecurity professional who has seen information asymmetry weaponized in systems, and a Data Analyst who understands and values the story behind data.
The problem became impossible to ignore when an unexpected lay-off happened, and their family experienced firsthand what millions of candidates face every year. Ghost postings. Ghosted after interviews. Excessive rounds leading nowhere. Processes designed to look real that never were.
What started as a kitchen table conversation became a mission. If the hiring market was going to treat candidates as disposable, someone needed to build a platform that made that impossible to hide.
VyzorIQ is that platform.
